Job Title: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $60 $65/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

• Call Commitment: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month

Seeking an experienced Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist to perform diagnostic examinations at the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and/or peripheral vascular procedures. The technologist will collect and record data to assist in establishing correct anatomical and physiological diagnoses. Candidates must be certified as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and have a minimum of 2 years experience in the cardiovascular specialty.

• Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic cardiovascular procedures under physician direction

• Assist during interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular studies

• Collect, record, and interpret patient data for accurate diagnosis

• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and proper sterile technique during procedures

• Support cardiology team with equipment operation and troubleshooting

• Ensure all procedures are documented accurately

• Certification: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in cardiovascular specialty Required

• Education: Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program

• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

  • Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Must obtain and maintain all)
