Job Title: Interventional Technologist
Location: Dearborn, MI
Job duration: 3 months+ of contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 7:30 am – 4 pm (Variable Weekends)
Note: STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.
Responsibilities:
-
Under general supervision, the Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures to assist physicians and delivers quality patient/family centered care.

The incumbent may be required to perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, vascular access site management, and provide patient/family education.
Requirements:
- 2 years of relevant experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR. Required.
- Required associate’s degree or equivalent in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, training and/or education.
- Required Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).
- ARRT (IR) or RCIS.
- BLS/ACLS-AHA
