- Please note this role works directly with Work with Animal products & Eggs products, noted in case of chickens or egg allergy.
- MS Office Suite.
- Min of 1-3 years of experience (max experience 3 years, over this would be considered overqualified).
- Must have lab experience displayed on resume.
- Running hemagglutination testing, SDS-PAGE chromatography, and PCR.
- Experience working with viruses is a plus.
- Execution of small-scale experiments, working with eggs and flu virus.
- Support and assist production of high growing flu virus reassort ants, flu reference antigen, and antisera.
- Running hemagglutination testing, SDS-PAGE, chromatography, and PCR.
- Ordering and maintaining supplies and materials and shipping materials as needed.
- Working with outside vendors as needed.
- Shipping biological samples for sequencing.
- Writing internal development protocols and reports related to project.
- Sample management between labs, manufacturing buildings, and analytical sciences department.
- Bachelor’s degree required; science/biology field preferred.
- 1+ years of laboratory experience (academic lab experience accepted)
- Experience working with viruses is a plus.
