R&D Technician II

Job Title: R&D Technician II
Location: Arden hills, MN
Duration: 12 months contract to Hire
 
Pay Range: $23 - $26/hr. on W2


Job Summary:
Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment


Key Responsibilities

• Execution of R&D bench testing independently with reliable, high-quality results.
• Ability to work with written product test methods as well as verbal instructions.
• Assisting engineering staff in the development of R&D test methods.
• Performing device failure analysis.
• Summarizing experiment outcomes for engineering staff, including creation of datasheets and archiving experiment data.
• Receiving work direction from multiple engineers and managing workload appropriately.
   

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality
• requirements.
   

Minimum Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Medical device industry experience, test method development experience, device failure analysis experience.
