Job Title: Automation Compounder
Location: Somerset, NJ
Duration: 6 Months+ with (Contract to Hire Possibilities)

Shift: 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Training Schedule:

• Employee can choose to train on either first or second shift:
  • First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Skills:

• Fricke filling systems: Multi cluster, Dosing Cluster, and Manual Filling station
• Fricke automated filling equipment

• Production Department

Reports To:

• Production Manager or Shift Supervisor

Status: Nonexempt

Job Summary:

As an Automation Compounder you’ll be working to support the plant’s day-to-day operations. You’ll be supported by your team with possibilities to grow into a Manufacturing Professional and directly impact the quality of our products, helping to improve real lives.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Identifies, prioritizes, and imports batches to be produced on Fricke automated filling equipment.
• Works with support team as necessary to resolve software issues and ensure efficient operation of equipment.
• With a good understanding of the Automation Batch Management System (Client) system, identifies split batches or splits the batches manually as needed between the three Fricke filling systems: Multi cluster, Dosing Cluster, and Manual Filling station.
• Operates and monitors the mechanical performance of the automated filling system during assigned shift.
• Prints barcode labels and stages finished batches for completion by compounders.
• Advises compounders of the specifics of the batches coming from automation on the size, priority, and how many pots.
• Identifies raw materials needing replenishing (stock alarms), removes empty drums, and installs/connects new drums on the mezzanine level.
• Ensures that equipment is in good working order and advises supervisor of any operating issues/malfunctions.
• Ensures proper cleaning of equipment daily.

 
Non-Essential Responsibilities and Functions:

• Assists other areas as necessary.
• Trains new Compounders.
• Participates in year-end physical inventory.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equivalency (GED) required.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle heavy materials including drums (lifting requirement of up to 60 lbs.).
• Possesses strong commitment to team environment dynamics.
