Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Two Shifts available : 8:00 to 16:30 OR 7:30 to 16:00 (Mon - Fri)
The Payrate information:
Overall Weekly Pay Rate: $2,480
W2 Weekly Pay Rate: $1,364
Weekly Stipend: $1,116

Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- BS or MS in Healthcare preferred.
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(M) license required.
Job Description:
- Under the direction of the Mammography Supervisor or Manager, the Mammography Technologist provides diagnostic mammography services.
- Ability to demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines is of vital importance.
- Maintaining equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition is expected.
- Performs examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner so as to favourably promote the services offered at the facility.
- Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR).
- Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff , as well as ability to interact well with the public.
