Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Neenah, WI
Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Monday - Friday rotating hours, 7:45am - 4:00pm AND 9:30am - 6:00pm

Job summary:

• The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients—whether they come in as part of their health routine or for life-defining diagnostic insights.
• The PSR II is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring adherence to established safety and quality standards.
• The PSR II must create an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures, performing collections skillfully, and maintaining patient confidentiality and comfort.
• This role requires demonstrating leadership behaviors, process excellence, and a strong commitment to accuracy and professionalism.

Successful applicants may be assigned to:

• A doctor’s office.
• A patient service center..
• Other designated locations as business needs dictate

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment.

Phlebotomy & Specimen Handling:

• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and accuracy.
• Verify patient demographic information, initials, and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure proper labeling and identification.
• Maintain required records, logs, and documentation per company and regulatory standards.

Customer & Patient Interaction:

• Create a positive experience for patients by demonstrating empathy, respect, and professionalism.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Compliance & Quality:

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including:

• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information
• Comply with all regulatory and procedural requirements

Job Requirements

• Proven ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexible schedule—availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on established procedures and good judgment.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required.
• Phlebotomy certification.

Work Experience:

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
