Location: Varies – Doctor’s Office, Patient Service Center, or as business needs dictate
Shifts: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (includes weekends)
Pay rate: $40.00/h in W2 contract

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist I (Traveler) to join our team. In this mobile role, you will serve as the face of our organization at various locations, ensuring high-quality specimen collection while delivering exceptional patient care. This position requires reliable travel to assigned sites and flexibility to meet evolving staffing needs.

• Professionally greet and interact with patients to ensure a positive experience

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric

• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, following all safety and procedural protocols

• Confirm and verify patient identity and label specimens in the presence of the patient

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all patient information is kept confidential

• Uphold a clean, organized, and professional work environment

• Travel to various sites as needed, often with minimal notice

• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, colleagues, and supervisors

• Demonstrate adaptability and commitment to process excellence in a high-volume setting

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience strongly preferred

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to error-free specimen collection

• Ability to work independently in a mobile capacity with minimal supervision

• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

• Comfortable working in various locations with high patient volumes

• Proof of immunization status (details provided during onboarding)

• Current TB test

• Flu vaccination or approved exemption

• Submission of personal information (name, address, phone, DOB, SSN) for HR badge access

• May be required to perform Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) – documentation of highest level of education required

• Prior experience in a clinical or traveling phlebotomy role

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor in diverse clinical environments

• Strong customer service skills and a passion for patient care
