We are seeking dedicated and professional Benefit Educators to join our team.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, on-call work.
The primary responsibility is to attend client benefit fairs, answer high-level questions, and distribute promotional materials.
Responsibilities:
- Individuals must attend an annual training provided by Client to Product a deeper understanding of the industry, the organization, and their specific role during benefit fairs.
- Additionally, individuals are required to participate in a one-hour training session with the account team at least 48 hours before the client’s benefit fair.
- This training will cover details about the client, the plan, and key talking points for discussions at the event.
- Professional attire and demeanor are mandatory.
- Individuals should proactively greet and assist attendees as they visit the booth, distributing flyers and other promotional information.
- After the fair, individuals must complete the questionnaire that will be emailed to them.
- Candidates must live locally within the geographic area and be willing to travel within this region to cover events.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Individuals should be willing to work on an “as-needed” basis, including accommodating occasional last-minute requests.
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally and knowledgeably with individuals about their pharmacy benefits.
- Ability to confidently speak in front of small groups and demonstrate sales skills.
- Comfortable asking probing questions to identify the needs and expectations of attendees at the fair.
- Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with benefits and insurance information
- Training will be provided to ensure that you are well-prepared to answer client questions.
- This is a contingent role with no guaranteed hours; work will be available on an as-needed basis.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
