Phlebotomist I
Location: Stockton CA
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: : MON- FRI 7:30 AM - 4 PM EST Sat Rot.
Pay Range : $20/hr - $24/hr
Position Summary
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients who visit as part of their routine healthcare or for important, life-defining health decisions. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while following established practices and procedures.
The PSR I interacts directly with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. This position demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily activities accurately and in a timely manner under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

Prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

Maintain required records and documentation accurately.

Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Job Requirements

Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.
Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).

Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience
-
Minimum of six (6) months of experience (REQUIRED).
