Duration: 06/16/2025 – 09/11/2025
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: 5 Days Per Week, 40 Hours Per Week
• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No Weekends
• No On Call
Department: Clinic-Rehab Medicine
Job Summary:
• Responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions, and other duties as assigned.
• Collaborates with the provider throughout the patient’s visit to ensure a comfortable experience for the patient.
• May be required to cross-train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Three (3) years of formal on-the-job Medical Assistant experience required.
• One to two years of clinical experience preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate Diploma or Certificate), or Military Medic/Corpsman training – Required
Licensure & Certifications:
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Assessment Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) – Required
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider (or equivalent) – Required within 90 days of hire
