Role Overview:
The Benefit Educator is essential to our business's success. In this client-facing role, you will represent *** and conduct enrollment events that differentiate us from competitors. Your primary responsibility will be to educate customers about ***’s products, services, and programs through various formats, including presentations, benefit fairs, and health fairs. Your aim is to provide a positive and satisfying customer experience, showcasing knowledge and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Licensing and Compliance:

Maintain an active Life and Health Insurance License.

Customer Education:

Present and explain employer-sponsored benefits and health insurance.

Successfully introduce and educate customers on *** benefit programs.

Event Coordination:

Conduct enrollment events and troubleshoot enrollment or benefit questions and concerns.

Travel within the geographic market to cover events as needed.

Communication:

Engage comfortably with both large groups and individuals.

Utilize email and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for communication and presentations.

Expense Management:

Charge and be reimbursed for travel expenses (car rental, air, hotel, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Health and Life License required.
-

Experience:
-
Experience in explaining and presenting employer-sponsored benefits and health insurance.

Bilingual in Spanish (must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Webex, Zoom, Skype).

Essential Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills, both virtual and in-person.

Knowledge of employee benefits (health, dental, pharmacy, vision, etc.) and HIPAA compliance.
Tech-savvy and adaptable.

Candidates can work for other carriers/enrollment companies but cannot be signed to exclusive contracts during peak season.
