Role Overview:
The position is for a Systems/SysAdmin role supporting enterprise applications within a banking environment. The role focuses on production-level support for Unix/Linux systems, including infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and automation.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for enterprise and marketing applications
• Manage and support Unix/Linux infrastructure (Red Hat required)
• Perform system configuration, troubleshooting, and hardware support
• Handle patching and automation workflows
• Work closely with multiple teams in an Agile environment using Jira/Kanban
• Participate in on-call rotation including day shift, weekend, and after-hours support

 
Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience with UNIX/Linux environments
• Red Hat Linux (RHEL) experience required
• Automation experience – Ansible (primary) and Python
• Experience with production support and infrastructure management
• Knowledge of system operations, risk management, and decision making

 
Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Candidates should have similar administration/production support experience
• Bachelor’s degree not required
