Job Title: Patient Services Representative I / Phlebotomist I
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 2 months
Shift:Mon - Fri 8:30am- 5:30pm

Overview:
The PSR I is the frontline representative interacting directly with patients, drawing quality blood samples, and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role ensures patient comfort, clear communication, and accurate specimen collection while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following protocols

• Provide excellent patient care and explain procedures clearly

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Ensure a safe, professional environment

• Support leadership and process excellence initiatives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant/paramedic training preferred)

• Phlebotomy certification preferred/required in certain states

• Minimum 6 months experience; 1+ year preferred

• Strong phlebotomy skills (including pediatric and geriatric)

• Customer service and data entry experience

• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime)
