Overview
The Patient Services Representative I is the welcoming face of our organization, supporting patients during routine visits and during moments that impact important health decisions. In this role, you will collect high-quality blood samples, prepare specimens for laboratory testing, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care. You help create an atmosphere of trust and professionalism while clearly explaining procedures and maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily tasks accurately, efficiently, and on schedule under the guidance of the Area Supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Confidently perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing in line with established procedures.

Accurately maintain all required records and documentation.

Demonstrate strong organizational commitment and present a positive, professional image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the public.
Requirements
Core Skills

Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric venipuncture.

Flexible availability to meet staffing needs (includes weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime).

Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.

Reliable keyboarding and data-entry proficiency.
Education
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Medical training such as Medical Assistant or Paramedic (preferred).

Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Experience
-
Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
-
1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
-
Previous customer service experience in retail or service environments is a plus.
