CNA - SNF

Job Title: CNA - SNF - Part time
Pay range -  $28/hr. - $30/hr. 
Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM  with every other weekend required
Schedule: 3 Days/Week with every other weekend required
(22.5 hours per week /7.5-hour shifts/Day ) 

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic nursing care to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) under the supervision of licensed nurses. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, vital signs monitoring, and supporting recreational and emotional well-being of residents.

• Provide direct care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, etc.)

• Assist with patient mobility and repositioning to prevent bedsores

• Observe and report any changes in resident's physical or emotional condition

• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when necessary

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, change linens, and assist with general facility upkeep

• Participate in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for residents

• Provide postmortem care if required

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and regulation of visitors

• Set up examining rooms and assist during examinations as needed

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a Nursing Home or Skilled Nursing Facility (Required)

• Graduate of an approved CNA program; NYS CNA Certification – required; Primary Source Verification - required; AHA BLS - required

• Soft Skills: Patience, empathy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills

• Ability to lift or move residents using proper body mechanics

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as per schedule

• Compliance with infection control and safety standards
