Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: 901 W Indiantown Rd, Jupiter, FL 33458
Duration: 3 months (temp to hire)
Schedule: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–3:00 PM (one weekday off), Sat 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Job Summary:
Phlebotomist I serves as the first point of contact for patients at the Patient Service Center, providing excellent customer service while performing blood draws and specimen collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with check-in and appointments
- Collect blood and clinical/forensic specimens accurately and safely
- Verify patient information and properly label specimens
- Prepare and process specimens for lab testing
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Ensure accurate documentation and records
- Deliver high-quality customer service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states)
Skills:
- Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric)
- Data entry and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong customer service skills
Preferred:
- Medical assistant or paramedic training
- 6+ months phlebotomy experience
- Retail or customer service background
