Certified Medical Coders - Output & ED
Job Location: Bronx, NY
Job Duration: 2 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Payrate: $25/hr. - $30/hr. on w2
Job Summary:
-
Medical coding in an acute care setting; must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder); knowledge of coding guidelines, payor Guidelines, federal billing guidelines; knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes; ability to research coding related issues; competence in coder training; must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application.
Experience Requirements:
- Must have EPIC and 3M experience.
- Outpatient and ED experience.
- CCS OR CCP certification must be from AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT.
- Ideal candidate has minimum 4+ years of outpatient coding experience.
- NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS ED CODING EXPERIENCE.
Work Arrangement:

Starts onsite for training, then transitions to remote work once duties are mastered.
Additional Notes:
- Seeking certified coders with strong Inpatient coding background.
- Candidate should be able to work with minimal training.
Schedule Hours Per Day: 7.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
