Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Salinas, CA – 93901
Other Locations available:
- La Mesa, CA
- San Marcos, CA
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday (with possible Saturday rotation)
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 40 hours/week
Job Summary
The Mammography Technologist performs high-quality breast imaging procedures, assists with advanced diagnostic procedures, and ensures compliance with MQSA and radiology standards while delivering safe patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography and bone density exams
- Assist with stereotactic biopsy & needle localization
- Review patient history and physician orders
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team
Requirements
- ARRT (R) & ARRT (M) certifications
- Minimum 1 Year recent mammography experience
- Experience with stereotactic biopsy & needle localization
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Experience with diagnostic mammography
- Knowledge of MQSA/ACR standards
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with galactography
- Bone density (DEXA) experience
- Prior hospital-based mammography experience
