Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team.
Your primary role of the Business Analyst is to act as a liaison between our customers and our technical team, translating customer ideas into meaningful requirements and concepts that can be used to design effective solutions.
We are a team of engineers working on a platform console used as an entry point portal for our eco-system of solutions.
This portal aims to become the source of truth for asset management and provide reliable information to other important processes and even to some built-in self-service features.
In this position you will interact with multiple product managers and technical leads to gather needs and ideas, establish concepts, align on processes and document the necessary requirements for our development team.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Engage with customers to gather detailed requirements, ensuring their needs are clearly understood and documented.
Analysis and Documentation: Convert customer requirements into detailed functional specifications, concepts, and workflows.
Concept validation: Exchange with technical leads, to get to commonly accepted requirements, concepts and processes.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between customers, technical leads, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding of project requirements and goals.
Process Mapping: Develop and document business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization and ensure their end to end application to our console.
Solution Assessment: Assist in assessing proposed solutions to ensure they meet business needs and align with strategic objectives.
Product Delivery Support: Provide ongoing clarification and support to technical teams during project development.
Quality Assurance: Participate in testing processes, ensuring that the final product meets the defined requirements and customer expectations.
Training and Documentation: Support the creation of user manuals, guides, and other support materials to assist customers with solution implementation and adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within a cloud & security related environment setup.
Proficiency in business analysis techniques, tools, and software (e.g., Diagram, Jira, markdown...).
Good understanding of Cloud and Security concepts.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong focus on customer experience with a clear ability to translate needs into user experience.
Certifications:
Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.

Note: The ideal candidate is required to work 2-3 days weekly at the Mississauga Campus.
