Location:Derry, NH
Shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm and sometimes 8 am to 5:30 pm with rotating Saturdays
Duration:2 months

Job Description:

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for drawing blood from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing while ensuring a safe, professional environment. They explain procedures to patients, create a trusting atmosphere, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy. The PSR II follows established practices, demonstrates leadership, and may work in doctor's offices, patient service centers, or other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate daily activities under supervision.

• Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens.

• Verify patient info and ensure proper labeling.

• Maintain records and promote a positive image to patients and staff.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required).

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Phlebotomy certification (preferred in CA, NV, WA).

• 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center preferred.

Additional Details:

• Saturday rotation required.
