The EDIFecs Senior Developer is a full stack engineer who designs, develops, and integrates solutions to solve business and technical requirements across EDI applications. Candidate must be passionate about technology, writing code and solving problems; able to work both independently and in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management; a motivated team member who enProducts learning and sharing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high quality software
- Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code
- Simplify and improve existing application code ensuring high unit test coverage
- Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers on your team as well as external teams to deliver value to our customers
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards
- Provide mentoring to junior engineers
Required Experience / Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software development experience with a successful track record of production ready solutions
- Deep understanding of all things “database” - schema design, optimization, scalability, etc.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB
- Experience with continuous integration and source code control such as GitLab, GitHub, TFS.
- Proficient in EDI applications: Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS, and their components
- Working knowledge of X12N transactions, HL7 messages, and FHIR
- WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET framework, SQL/SSIS development related to EDI
- API Apps, API Management Portal
- Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (VSTFS)
- MS SQL Servers 2012, 2014, 2016
- System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), SCOM
Desired Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB
- Experience with Scrum/SAFe Agile Framework
- Experience with Jenkins
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
