Job Description Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of verification tests on oral healthcare products using a broad range of customized equipment, including manual inspections, semi-automated test equipment, and fully automated testers.
- Execute testing procedures by following documented instructions (Test Protocols). Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data. Document results in written test records.
- Evaluate new test methods and make recommendations to engineering teams.
- Maintain lab equipment and testers by performing calibrations and preventive maintenance as needed.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 2-Year technical degree or equivalent + 5 years’ experience
- Good electrical, mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills. Good understanding of fundamental engineering and physical principles.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving problems, including familiarity with operating and troubleshooting custom test equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and collect, organize, and analyze experimental data and write technical reports. Good communication skills are a must.
- Perform engineering tests and make observations and recommendations to product development engineers.
- Familiarity working in a fast-paced, cross-functional product development environment.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma, Vocational Education.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D) environment, Engineering Laboratory or equivalent.
