Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Mount Dora
Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends
Duration: 4+ months

Job Summary:
Serve as the welcoming face to patients, performing quality blood draws and specimen preparation with skill and care. Build trust by explaining procedures clearly and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all patient interactions. Follow established protocols under supervisor guidance, maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and forensic blood specimen collection confidently and accurately

• Maintain required documentation and records

• Promote a positive image to patients and staff

• Work independently and handle fast-paced tasks with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

• 6+ months phlebotomy experience; 1+ year preferred

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws

• Strong customer service and data entry skills

• Reliable transportation and punctuality required

• Must live within a 20-25 min commute to Mount Dora
