Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601 & Pompton Plains, NJ 07444
Duration: 3 Months+ Contract (High possibilities of Extension)

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. 4x10s. No Weekends. No On-Call
 
Pay Range: $75/hr - $80/hr. on W2 - Highly Negotiable Pay Rate

Note:
STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.
REFERRAL BONUS ON EACH SUCCESFUL REFERRAL.

Job Summary:

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
• Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
• Assess and manage access site and inform physician.
• Adhere to on call protocol for Cath lab.
• Prepare patient for procedures. 

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Skills & Licenses:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• Proficient in Cardiac Cath. CCL Scrub experience required. Peripheral/neuro experience would be a plus but not required.
• Must have 2 years prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital.
• 6-12 months during CVT accredited program or 2 years in another cardiac vascular laboratory.
• Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring and sterile operative techniques.
