Job Title: Epic Application Analyst
Location: Tulsa, OK 74136
Duration: 3 + Months (possible extension)

Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience Required: 1+ year of related experience
Certifications Required: Epic certification (must obtain and maintain in assigned module(s))
 
Position Overview:
The Application Analyst is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing assigned applications by understanding functional workflows, building system solutions, performing testing, and providing tier-2 support. The role requires strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, vendors, and end-users to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant application functionality.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of functional workflows and associated software.
  • Participate in future-state workflow reviews and system build activities.
  • Identify system optimization opportunities and implement effective solutions.
  • Research issues and provide solution options, including alternatives to address system limitations.
  • Provide tier-2 support for application incidents reported via the help desk.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of system processes.
  • Implement changes following documented policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers, including leadership-level staff, to support application needs.
  • Travel as required for Epic training or to remote work sites.
  • Lead and coordinate activities of peers performing similar work (without supervisory responsibility).
  • Uphold the Health System’s mission, vision, and values while delivering high-quality customer service.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to complete Epic certification and maintain certification in assigned application module(s).
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills for both business and technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments.
