Phlebotomist II
Job Title: Phlebotomist II – Float
Location: Naples, FL
Duration: 4-5 months
Shift: Monday- Friday - 6am-2:30PM with rotational Saturdays & Must have flexibility for availability between 6am-3pm
Summary:
The PSR II – Float serves as a key patient-facing role, responsible for collecting quality blood samples, ensuring accurate specimen processing, and providing excellent customer service across multiple locations. This role requires advanced phlebotomy skills, strong attention to detail, and the flexibility to travel between sites on short notice.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform safe and accurate blood collections (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary).

Verify and label specimens in patient presence; maintain accurate documentation.

Deliver exceptional service and build patient trust.

Travel to cover multiple locations (PSC, in-office phlebotomy, etc.).

Act independently while following established procedures and safety protocols.

Maintain clean, professional, and confidential work environments.
Requirements:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred (REQUIRED in CA, NV, WA)
Experience:
-
3+ years of phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED)

2+ years in a Patient Service Center preferred

Customer service and data entry experience strongly preferred
Skills & Attributes:

Excellent phlebotomy technique, including pediatric/geriatric draws

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Must be dependable, punctual, and available for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
