Pay rate- $19- $20
2nd Shift role: 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with the possibility of overtime.
Candidate must have metatarsals on day one. Will be on their feet the majority of the shift.
Position Description:
o Will help implement the new SAP/EWM system into PDC.
o This position is the material coordinator for the biggest department on 2nd shift.
o Must direct the activities of pickers to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
o Utilize warehouse management systems to track picking progress and update order statuses.
o Address issues such as missing items, damaged goods, or system errors promptly to minimize delays.
o Track productivity metrics and report results to supervisors; recommend improvements where needed.
o Will be working in Excel occasionally, but the majority of work will be in Deeres mainframe/menu driven systems, DNS (Dealer Network System), and WCS.
Critical skills required:
o Exceptional data entry speed/accuracy plus ability to stay focused and perform work for long periods of time.
o Self-motivated to help coworkers during lull times.
o Experience w/inventory systems/tools/AS400 program extremely beneficial in this role; will be troubleshooting through inventory issues.
o Attention to detail, timeliness and excellent attendance are key as position is imperative in keeping operation running.
o People skills is important. The department has 50 employees on 2nd shift. That may all have a problem at the same time.
Other:
o This position may require driving a client owned Cushman on the shop floor after successfully completing training.
o Will train as backup to cover all duties of position in the department.
