Sr. Network Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: Wall Street, NYC (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months+ (Temp to Hire)
 
Pay range: $50 - $65/hr. on w2
 
Job Summary:
This role offers a hybrid work model with the opportunity for permanent placement after a 6-month temporary period. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network solutions using Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Firewalls, Fortinet Firewalls, and other network security technologies.
• Ensure network security best practices are followed, including intrusion detection, VPNs, and access control.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate cloud networking solutions into the existing infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain routing protocols such as OSPF to optimize network performance.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.

 
Skill Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Fortinet Firewalls.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Cisco CCNA certification
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in routing protocols, particularly OSPF.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with both onsite and remote teams.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) and/or Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSE) are a plus.
