Job Title: End User Services Specialist
Location: Chattanooga, TN 37402
Duration: 3 + Months (Possible Extension)
Qualifications:
- All applicants should be aware that, as a federal contractor, the organization may be required to implement a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Equivalent experience is defined as 2 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
Skills & Certifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle non-routine analytical tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
Job Profile Summary:
- Provides technical, operational, and administrative support for IT-related end-user provisioning and device support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual installation of non-packaged software, including both purchased and internally developed applications.
- Ensure appropriate change management approvals are obtained prior to software deployment.
- Manage multiple assignments and issues in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, while keeping end users and management informed of progress.
- Deliver timely and effective technical support to end users by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with hardware and corporate-standard software.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in accordance with incident and knowledge management standards.
