Cost Control Manager

Please note in line with company policy, this role is VDI only. company will not be providing a laptop or equipment.
6 months, remote, eventually will be in GA. Travel to GA as well needed as per requirement.

Job Summary:
The Cost Control Manager is a key member of the company Bio Nexus Project Control & Governance team.
This role supports predictable delivery of a multi billion euro capital investment through rigorous application of company Project Excellence Standards, the Project Control Plan (PCP), and the Stage Gate Framework.
The role ensures transparent visibility on cost, schedule, risk, performance and governance across all phases from Feasibility (GP0.1) through Detailed Design (GP2), Construction, Commissioning & Qualification (GP3) and Close out (GP4). 3. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES Primary interface to finance to review and process invoices in a timely manner with accuracy.
Verifies and reconciles resource hours billed to the project. Prepares/reviews monthly accruals with finance. Works with the EPC/EPCM to developed progress reporting metrics that are in alignment. Issues monthly CPI analysis.
  • Cost estimator as required. Manages a staff of 3+. - Establish, maintain and control the Cost Baseline consistent with company WBS/CBS standards.
  • Lead monthly cost forecasting (EAC/ETC), cashflow modelling and variance analysis. Validate contractor estimates, BOEs and cost breakdowns; ensure AACE aligned estimate classes.
  • Manage Change Control financial impacts, contingency drawdowns and funding alignment per DOA.
  • Coordinate with I2I on CAPEX/OPEX alignment, asset capitalization readiness and financial risk reviews.
  • Develop cost KPIs, dashboards and reporting for SteerCo and executive governance. Ensure compliance with company Cost Management Guidance and audit readiness.

Education & Qualification
  • Education and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Excel, P6, OPC, SAP, risk tools, cost tools, Change Control systems and COMPANY templates.
  • Bachelors or masters in engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related field.
  • 1020+ years experience on large capital projects (200M), preferably pharma/biotech.
  • Certifications: PMP, PMI SP, AACE (CCP/PSP), or equivalent preferred. - Strong proficiency in P6, SAP, risk tools, cost tools, Change Control systems and COMPANY templates.

Competencies
  • Expertise in Project Controls (cost, schedule, risk, change).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to influence without authority across global teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluent English, French is a plus
  • Familiarity with COMPANY governance, PCP, PEP, DOA and Engineering Excellence Standards.
