Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Clackamas, OR 97015
Duration: 3 Months+
Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:15 AM – 5:45 PM
Role Overview:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures by assisting physicians, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring patient safety. This role is critical to delivering precise, high-quality care in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitors)
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper positioning and sterile technique
- Monitor patient vitals and document procedural activities in real time
- Support post-procedure care and recovery efforts
- Comply with all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a cardiac Cath lab setting.
