Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Santa Ana, CA 92705
Duration: 4 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
Pay Range: $22 – $27.20/hr. on W2
Role Overview:
The PSR I is the primary patient-facing representative, responsible for drawing quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing. The role emphasizes patient trust, safety, and comfort, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established procedures. Employees may perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection.

- Collect blood specimens safely and accurately, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimens and patient data.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence.
- Adapt to staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as required.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
- Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Keyboard and data entry skills required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
