Phlebotomist II
Duration:2 months
Location: Longmont CO
Shift: M-F 7:30AM - 2:30PM
Role Summary:
The PSR II serves as the face of the company to patients, assisting with routine health visits and critical health decisions. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring patient comfort and trust through clear communication and skillful, safe blood collection techniques. The PSR II exemplifies leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information. Assignments may be at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and timely under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, following established procedures.

Verify patient demographic information, including initials and signature post-venipuncture, to confirm specimen labeling accuracy.

Maintain all required records and documentation diligently.

Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and adhere to company policies.
Job Requirements:

Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime shifts as needed.

Comply with all policies including dress code, health & safety, and guiding principles.

Exercise good judgment and make decisions based on established procedures.

Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (if applicable).

Ability to travel and cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Exhibit superior customer service skills with transparent communication and adaptability to change.
Education & Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience.
