Job Description:
- Please advertise role as data/visualization engineer, not just visualization engineer. Data experience will be key in this position.
- On-site role at WHQ, 4 days on campus
- 5-6 years experience minimum required
Top skills include the following:
- Data/visualization engineering skills
- Ability to trace back data code to find the source of truth
- Experience with Azure and AWS
- Ability to write and understand code (Python)
- SQL experience
- Power BI experience
Necessary soft skills:
- Ability to work independently AND in a dynamic team environment
- Ability to document processes and teach others
Skills that would make someone stand out:
- Financials knowledge
- Prior automation experience
- Candidates should be able to navigate variant data sources and be able to trace back to the source of truth from code
- Will work with ~10-12 people on direct team: principal engineers; domain partners (leadership, VP level); other software engineers; cost analysts & finance partners
- This role is priority, and the team will be prioritizing those who can start ASAP
- The HM would like suppliers to let potential candidates know of DTL weeks in December so that they aren t blindsided by that down the road
