Job Description:
This is a technical position working in SAS Physical Chemistry, with responsibilities including:
- Performing analytical testing under cGMP on raw materials and finished products in various stages of development.
- Providing sufficient level knowledge on one or more Physical Chemistry analytical techniques.
- Preparation and distribution of data and reports to various levels of senior management.
- Basic technical skills in analytical chemistry and instrumentation.
- Experience analysing product formulations to determine efficacy, stability and sensory characteristics (cosmetic formulations preferred).
- Basic to moderate level of knowledge in one or more of the following analytical techniques: Rheology, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Particle Size Analysis, Colour Analysis by Spectrophotometer, Digital Microscopy.
- Basic knowledge of GMP regulations and ICH guidelines.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive delivery of results in a timely fashion.
- Must have good communication skills (Written & Verbal), including the ability to write technical reports.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- 70%: Analyses raw materials and finished goods and evaluates/interprets results.
- 30%: Prepares reports, distributes results and engages with management, brand labs and support teams to solve their testing needs.
- BS in Chemistry/Physics/Chemical Engineering or Related Field
