JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:
The POTS Transition Team is responsible for implementing POTS replacement solutions and coordinating field execution, including working with site contacts and service providers, scheduling site surveys, overseeing installations, validating operational readiness postcutover, and calculating savings associated with replacements. The team coordinates closely with the Disconnect Coordination Team (DCT) to enable timely disconnects once replacements are complete. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with legacy data and telecommunications circuits, including analog dial tone, and proven experience in a similar fieldfocused role.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing POTS replacement solutions at field locations by coordinating with site contacts, service providers, vendors, and carrier representatives.
Scheduling site surveys; overseeing installations.
Validating operational readiness postcutover; calculating savings associated with replacements; and notifying the Disconnect Coordination Team (DCT) once replacements are complete and disconnect activities can proceed.
Effective crossfunctional communication and collaboration are required to ensure accurate execution, alignment, and successful outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified candidates possess experience working with telecommunications or network services in an analytical, operational, or technical support role, along with a solid understanding of circuitbased services, billing concepts, and inventory or asset tracking.
The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, analyze data, and support reporting activities.
Candidates should be selfmotivated, proactive problem solvers with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fastpaced, crossfunctional environment.

Detailed Responsibilities:
This role implements POTS replacement solutions at field locations and works closely with site contacts, service providers, vendors, and carrier representatives to gather data, validate requirements, coordinate activities, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
Responsibilities include scheduling and managing site surveys, overseeing installations, validating operational readiness postcutover, preparing and presenting findings to stakeholders, supporting project timelines and deliverables, providing regular status updates to project leadership, tracking progress and realized cost savings, calculating savings tied to completed replacements, and maintaining consistent, effective communication to ensure alignment and successful execution across all involved parties.
The role also coordinates with the Disconnect Coordination Team (DCT) by notifying them once replacements are complete so disconnect activities can proceed.
