Job Title: Foundry Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Waterloo Works Foundry, Waterloo, IA
Shift: 1st and 3rd shift; primarily 3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am; overtime possible
Duration - 3 Years
Pay Range - $36/hr to $42/hr


Job Description:
As a Foundry OFP Manufacturing Engineer, you will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering projects across the foundry. Operating in a team environment, you will collaborate closely with other engineers, supervisors, and operators within the order fulfilment process.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and execute engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Work approximately 75% on the shop floor

Required Skills/Experiences:
• 1+ years of foundry/process engineering
• Effective team collaboration
• Project management skills
• Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Effective communication and problem solving skills

Desired Skills/Experiences:
• Manufacturing line/process design experience
• Experience with SAP, MES, Creo, AutoCAD
• Controls Engineering/safety system design experience
• Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience

Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Technology or relevant work experience

Additional Information:
• Business casual dress code; metatarsals required first day
• Potential travel to other facilities for training
• May drive a Gator inside the factory after completing training
• Visa sponsorship not available
• Manager open to recent grads with relevant internships
• Interviews conducted via Teams; position starts onsite
