Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Reno, NV
Duration: 3 Months+
 
Pay Rate: $70/hr. on W2 (The candidate must reside within 100 miles of the facility.)
 
Shift: Night/Graveyard | 7 Nights On / 7 Days Off
 
Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Night Pharmacist to work independently during overnight shifts, supported by a technician.
  • The pharmacist will be the sole practitioner on duty, responsible for overseeing medication management across three hospitals and three Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FEDs).
  • This critical role demands confidence, initiative, and proven experience in acute-care settings.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage medication distribution and verification across multiple facilities during night shifts
  • Utilize or learn Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system for pharmacy workflows
  • Ensure accuracy and safety in dispensing medications
  • Serve as the primary pharmacy contact for clinical and operational issues during overnight hours
 
Required:
  • The candidate must reside within 100 miles of the facility.
  • Pharmacist Licensure: Current and valid in the State of Nevada
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Minimum of 5 years in an acute-care inpatient hospital setting
  • IV Laminar Flow Hoods
  • Physical demands in line with standard clinical roles (vision, hearing, mobility, etc.)
