The MRI Technologist, under the general supervision of a Radiologist, performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as ordered by a physician or licensed provider. The technologist ensures accurate imaging for diagnosis while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification

• BLS (AHA only)

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience

• Experience working with client-specific MRI equipment

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Perform MRI procedures according to established exam protocols in a timely manner

• Verify patient identity and ensure correct exam is performed

• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging

• Screen patients for MRI safety compliance

• Maintain equipment functionality and report issues as needed

• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and regulatory standards

• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain medical records

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and expectations

• Provide support during emergency situations when required

• Strong knowledge of MRI imaging protocols and equipment

• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
