Order Filler/Assembly Clerk

Job Title: Order Filler / Shipping Clerk
Location: Greenfield, IN
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This role involves picking, packing, and shipping materials from a warehouse to customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to follow standard procedures. The position supports daily warehouse operations and contributes to a well-organized and productive team environment.

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders

• Keep the work area clean and organized; restock as necessary

• Break down bulk materials into smaller packaging units

• Support inventory tasks including cycle counts and physical inventories

• Rotate stock to ensure freshness based on expiration dates

• Identify short-dated inventory and report it to the supervisor

• Recommend improvements to warehouse procedures

• Perform other warehouse duties as needed

• Ability to maintain quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

• Good organizational and problem-solving skills

• Able to understand and follow instructions (written and verbal)

• Comfortable working both independently and in a team

• Consistent and reliable attendance

• Capable of lifting and moving up to 30 lbs

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods

• Must follow all safety and lifting procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, shipping, or logistics preferred

• Experience with basic warehouse tools (pallet jacks, hand carts, etc.) is a plus

• Previous experience in a team-based warehouse setting is desirable
