Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55455
Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension
Shift: 7:30 am - 4 pm, could be asked to stay late depending on patient volumes
Local Pay: $57/hr. on W2

- Weekly Gross: $2,436
- Weekly Stipend: $1,316
- W2 per hour: $28
Requirements:
- One year experience as a radiation therapist is required.
- ARRT registration in radiation therapy or be board eligible by completing the appropriate school of radiation therapy. Candidate will need to pass board exam within three months of hire date. Continuing education in radiation therapy field and must continue to hold ARRT registry.
Job Summary:
- Staff radiation therapist is responsible for delivering ionizing radiation therapy treatments as determined by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Administers prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards.
- Prepares and constructs equipment such as immobilization devices as needed or prescribed by the physician.
- Prepares and keeps stock of the treatment rooms. Under the direction of the manager may assume additional therapist responsibilities.
