Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Location: Milwaukee, WI.
Job Duration: 3 Months+ contract  (Possibilities of Extension)


Shift:  Monday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday: Off, Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 6:15 PM, Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday: 7:15 AM - 5:00 PM.
Description:
  • A Medical Assistant is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centred healthcare team.
  • This individual is responsible for pre-visit planning standard rooming responsibilities assisting with procedures discharge instructions and other duties as assigned.
  • The medical assistant is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patients visit.
  • The medical assistant may be required to cross train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations. Other duties as assigned.
Skills :
  • One to two years of clinical experience is preferred Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Able to give vaccines; have worked with Paediatric patients, reliable, and has used Epic in the past.
  • Certified medical assistant
  • CMA

Education:
•      High School diploma or equivalent is required
 
Certifications & Licenses:
  • BLS-(AHA)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or
    Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
