Distribution Technician

Job Title: Distribution Technician
Location: Bedford, MA 01730
Contract Duration: 12 months+ (Possibility of Extension)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Starting Pay Rate: $20.00/hour on W2
 
Position Summary:

• Support warehouse operations by preparing materials for shipment and maintaining accurate documentation across multiple transportation modes.

• Prepare and document all material movements, updating SAP accordingly.
• Stage and store incoming and outgoing materials (finished goods, raw materials, supplies) in designated locations.
• Prepare shipments using LTL, TL, ocean, rail, and air freight.
• Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products are properly recorded.
• Maintain quality and integrity of materials during loading and unloading.
• Keep warehouse areas safe, clean, and presentable.
• Print and organize shipping documents by order.
• Communicate with other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• 1+ year of general work experience (not necessarily warehouse-specific).
• Willingness to train candidates with relevant skills.
• Inventory control experience.
• Stable work history (no short-term roles).

• High school diploma required.

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Inventory management experience.

• Experience with computer software systems.
• Inventory management/control.
• Warehousing operations.
• Prior licensing for forklifts or electric power jacks.
