Phlebotomist I

Shift: : Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST.
Duration: 3 Months
Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for representing the face of the company by interacting directly with patients—whether they are visiting for routine health checkups or making important health decisions. Under the direction of the area supervisor, the PSR I will perform daily activities accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining a professional, safe, and supportive environment. This includes drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing, adhering to established practices and procedures.
The PSR I will demonstrate confidence in performing both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties, following established protocols. The PSR I is committed to providing an exceptional experience for patients by creating a sense of trust and confidence, clearly explaining procedures, and ensuring blood specimens are drawn skillfully, safely, and accurately.
Additionally, the PSR I maintains the necessary documentation and records while being sensitive to confidentiality and the accuracy of patient information. This role requires a commitment to promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public, while demonstrating organizational commitment through consistent leadership behaviors and adherence to process excellence.
Job Requirements:

Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision while ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including proficiency in working with pediatric and geriatric patients.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.

Demonstrates a commitment to safety and professionalism, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Possesses strong organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, and colleagues through actions and interactions.
Work Experience:

Minimum of 6 months’ experience in phlebotomy.
-
One (1) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
