Technical Writer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer/Administrative Assistant for our Research and Development (R&D) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation for R&D projects, as well as providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Writing:
Develop, write, and update technical documents, including but not limited to user specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, protocols, reports, etc.
Collaborate with R&D scientists, engineers, and other team members to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Ensure that all technical documents comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Review and edit technical documents for clarity, consistency, and quality.
Maintain a well-organized repository of technical documents and ensure version control.

Administrative Assistance:
Provide administrative support to the R&D team.
Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation as needed.
Coordinate communication between team members and external stakeholders.
Manage and track project-related documentation and correspondence.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the team s operations.

Qualifications:

Associates/Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience (e.g., Technical Writing, English, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline) is preferred.
Proven experience in technical writing, preferably within an R&D or scientific environment.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with regulatory documentation and compliance.
Familiarity with project management tools and software.
Previous experience providing administrative support in a technical or scientific setting.
Comments for Suppliers: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
