The opportunity:
- Receives all goods and supplies ordered by the company and distributes them as instructed, signs and classifies the associated documents.
- Validates compliance (Temperature) and lot numbers, places products in the correct locations using an RF gun with SAP program.
- Prepares customer orders for packing using an RF reader taking care to adhere to Client Diagnostics’s high quality guidelines, procedures and standards and works closely with carriers and the planning team to ensure a leveled workflow as well as packages and ships customer orders ensuring associated documents are properly completed and boxes are properly marked.
- Perform this work (Labeling) for the various products, and process returns, Diagnostics and Diabetes, according to applicable instructions and procedures.
- Supports day-to-day operations: filling cardboard boxes, preparing packaging for heat protectors, etc.
- Places packed products on pallets by carriers and any other related tasks.
- Reprograms the Inform II glucose meters according to the procedure in place.
- Is involved in various continuous improvement (including different work teams) and health and safety projects.
Who you are:
- You have a high school diploma in Quebec or a high school certificate (in the other provinces).
- 3-5 years distribution center experience: ideally in the medical/pharmaceutical field, as well as demonstrated autonomy, great initiative, professional spirit, excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift 40 lb loads as well as to move pallets up to 800 lbs with a hand pallet truck.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Experience in shipping and receiving required.
