Schedule Notes: Rotation between shifts based on operational needs; schedule posted 3 weeks in advance | Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, 3:30pm - 12:00am, 12:00am - 8:30am 
Pay Range: $28 - $32/hr. on w2

Job Summary:

• Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists with preparation and distribution of medications and maintenance of drug inventory.
• Adheres to federal, state, and local laws and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy and institutional practice.
• Rotates between satellites, tours, and shifts as required.

Duties

• Rotate assignments and tours to meet departmental needs under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified timeframes.
• Receive, return, and deliver medications, medication carts, and supplies to various hospital areas.
• Operate equipment properly and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems as needed.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Pharmacy Technician by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
• Primary Source Verification of License and Registration for Registered Pharmacy Technician from NYSED.

Required Skills & Experience:

• One (1) year of experience.
