Job Description:
- Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned, in a fast-paced environment.
- Performs and analyzes financial modeling, trends and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost a Product budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements and/or balance sheet accounts.
- Prepares reports of findings and trends, compiles and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management.
- Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, ad hoc reporting, and analysis.
- Provides analysis by business performance by unit, division or group.
- This role is an individual contributor with responsibility in Financial Planning and Analysis for an Operating Unit.
- Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
- Role is expected to act as a mentor to colleagues or assist in directing the work of other lower level professionals.
- Role needs to operate with some autonomy; recognized expert, managing large projects or processes.
- Exercises latitude in determining deliverables of assignments, with limited oversight from manager.
- Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level specialists as needed.
- Problems and issues faced may be difficult, moderately complex and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation.
- Develops solutions to moderately complex problems, and/or makes improvements of processes, systems or products independently to enhance performance of job area.
- Implements solutions to problems.
Education & Experience:
- Accounting or finance degree.
- 7+ years’ experience required.
Top 3 Candidate Experience Requirements:
- FP&A experience.
- Autonomy.
- Strong Excel capabilities.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- May have broad knowledge of project management.
- Requires a University Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
