Relocation will not be provided for this position.
We are seeking a highly motivated in vivo research associate to join our Inflammation group as a contractor. The selected candidate will support in vivo scientists to execute preclinical studies, whether they are within regular working hours, or after-hours or in weekends. The in vivo activities will include dosing (PO, SC, IP, IV, etc), monitoring and scoring, blood collection and tissue harvest. In addition, the candidate is responsible to help scientists organize the labs and supplies, shipping sample packages, and other maintenance activity needed.

- Prior in vivo experience is preferred. The candidate should not be afraid of handling animals and should have strong motivation to be trained with in vivo techniques.
- This job is full-time and has potential to be converted to a formal employment if the candidate demonstrates competency.
Qualifications:
- Candidates are expected to have some animal handling experience.
- In vivo technique experience is preferred. Candidates should be willing to learn in vivo techniques, including oral gavage (PO), intraperitoneal (IP) dosing, subcutaneous (SC) dosing, intravenous (IV) dosing, in-life and terminal blood collection, necropsy and tissue harvest.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
- Good recording keeping and organizational skills are required.
- Must have strong motivation to be trained with in vivo techniques.
